Skellig Michael: Taking Flight

Just another shot of a puffin at Skellig Michael. This one was getting ready to take off high above the ocean.
Giant’s Causeway: Pillars

As mentioned before, Giant’s Causeway was truly enchanting and really a photographer’s playground. I could have spent all day there taking pictures.
Ring of Kerry

Towards the end of our trip we stopped off at the Ring of Kerry in Ireland. This is the epitome Ireland. Blue clouded sky casting dapple shadows over green farmland flowing into the ocean. Definitely one of the best views.
Skellig Michael: Clinging Beauty

Skellig Micheal was truly an epic place. Though super rocky and out in the middle of the ocean, it still had so much beauty. Everywhere you look were these flowers that clung to the rock faces.
Giant’s Causeway: Geometry

Every time I think of the Giant’s Causeway, I still find it amazing that these shapes were created by nature.
Topsail Storms: Rain Bands

This is another shot from Topsail before Hurricane Florence ran us off. I love the soft brush of the rain over the ocean.
Skellig Michael: More Puffins!

Here are a couple more puffin shots from Skellig Michael. I could easily have spent all day taking pictures of just puffins.
Giant’s Causeway: Rays

Another favorite location that we could have spent way more time at is Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. It is hard to believe that these shapes are completely natural.
Scottish Gorse

All over Scotland we were seeing this bright yellow bush. Up close you quickly realize that though it is beautiful, this is a very hardy and spiny bush.
Skellig Michael: Anticipation

We shared the boat to Skellig Michael with some furry friends as well as the human kind. They were true sea dogs and loved the trip.
