San Antonio: Day 1

Welcome to the Alamo, which is right down town San antonio. It is one of 5 Missions in San Antonio. You will have to wait on the next post for Missions Conception and San Jose!
It’s not easy getting an shot of the Alamo with no one in the shot. I have to be honest, I never did. However I did get two shots at exactly the same angle with only one person in each thus the shot with no one in front of the Alamo:
The Alamo grounds are very nice. Don’t expect something huge if you get a chance to go. But I thought it well worth it:
I guess I never realized that Cactus bloom. I was pleasantly surprised:
After the Alamo we headed down to the River Walk:
Here are some friendly inhabitants of the River Walk:
On the river walk, we found a great Mexican restaurant with a great neon sign:
We then stepped across the street to San Fernando Cathedral:
As I mentioned about, the next post will be the other two missions we visited!
I miss the delicious tortillas at Mexican Manhattan. . . ahhh.
I don’t miss the riverwalk. But hey, that’s just me. Did you get any shots of the mini Mariachi band?
